World COPD Day

World COPD Day is an annual awareness-raising event, held each November.  It is organized by the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD).  The event is also supported by ICC and many ICC member organizations around the world participate, organizing educational and awareness-raising activities in their home countries.

World COPD Day 2007 will take place on Wednesday, November 14. The theme of this year’s event will be “Breathless not Helpless!” Materials and activities will also have an additional focus on “How You Can Help Yourself If You Have COPD.”
