The Second World Conference of COPD Patient Organizations was organized by the International COPD Coalition, the Allergic Rhinitis and its Impact on Asthma initiative, the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients Associations, the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA), the International Primary Care Respiratory Group, and the China COPD Alliance. It took place in Shanghai, China following the 16th Congress of the Asia-Pacific Society for Respirology, on November 6-7, 2011.
